Last step

Send it to a coordinator

Everything you added goes across as one request. A coordinator checks each line — the room with the owner, the meal with the cook, the car with the driver — and comes back with a final price and the cancellation terms in writing.

Nothing is booked and nothing is charged at this point.

Request confirmation

Target first reply: under 5 minutes in working hours.

Practical detail

Getting there

Mangalore (~140 km) and Mysore (~120 km) are the usual arrival points. Bangalore is around six hours by road.

When to come

October to March is dry and clear. June to September is heavy monsoon — beautiful, and not for everyone.

What to bring

Warm layers for the evening, shoes with grip, and mosquito repellent. Nights are cooler than people expect.

Connectivity

Mobile signal is patchy on estates. Tell your coordinator if you need reliable data and we will factor it in.

What deepest supply still does not mean

Kodagu is our strongest corridor, and it is still a young one. We do not hold a live calendar, so every request is checked with the owner before anything is confirmed. On peak weekends and long holidays the answer is sometimes no. We would rather tell you that within the hour than let you assume a room is held.

Kodagu questions

Asked most often

Is Kodagu the same as Coorg?

Yes. Kodagu is the district's name; Coorg is the anglicised version still used by most travellers and search engines.

Can you arrange everything — stay, food and the car?

In Kodagu, yes. It is the one corridor where all three work, and where one coordinator handles the whole trip.

How much notice do the meals need?

Breakfast at your stay needs none. Pandi curry and the vegetarian thali need a day. A meal at a kitchen in town needs a day as well.

Do homestays take single-night bookings?

Some do; many ask for two nights, and most insist over weekends and holidays. Tell us your dates and we will find the ones that fit.

Is it suitable for elderly travellers?

Often, but not universally — many estate properties have steps, slopes and no lift. Say so in your request and we will only send options that genuinely work.

Do we need a car of our own?

Not if you arrange a driver. Distances are short but the roads are slow, and estate approaches are rough. Most guests take a day car for at least one day.
